Jennifer is a native of Washington. She is an alumnae of Scripps College and earned a BA in chemistry.
Ms. Modak’s practice involves real property transactions, working with general contractors, subcontractors, developers, suppliers, and homeowners in all aspects of construction claims and contract disputes.
Ms. Modak’s practice also involves contract and business negotiation, business formation, and debtor/creditor claims and litigation. Jennifer is admitted to practice in the state, appellate, and the western district federal court of Washington.
Before joining the firm, Jennifer worked as a rule 9 intern in our predecessor firm, Thomas F. Miller, attorney at law, and was an extern for the attorney general’s office at the University of Washington.
Prior to starting her practice, Jennifer worked as a chemist for Johnson and Johnson pharmaceutical research and development.
Jennifer volunteers for legal services, and holds the position of president for the nelson gardens homeowners association.
